Welcome to Main Line Soccer Club

2020 - 2021 Registration

MLS will be advancing all 2019-2020 boys and girls teams to the next age group category for the 2020-2021 season.  Given the COVID-19 restrictions, tryouts for the 2020-2021 season are not possible.  While we have received a lot of interest from new players to join the MLS program, returning players will be our first priority.  We will do everything possible to offer each child a spot in the MLS program.  Therefore, it will be important for you to register your child for the 2020-2021 season by June 10th.  At the time of registration, we will ask that a $200 deposit be made via credit card.  Of course, if the 2020-2021 season can’t occur your deposit will be refunded.

We are now only taking registrations for the below teams on a first come first serve basis:

  • Boys U13 (2008 Birth Year)
  • Girls U15/U14 (2006 or 2007 Birth Year)
  • Girls U10 (2011 or 2012 Birth Year)

What you’ll needs to register:

  2. Photo of each player, head shot only please
  3. Medical insurance information
  4. Credit Card for the deposit

About Main Line Soccer

Club Philosophy

Main Line Soccer (MLS) is a youth soccer organization that offers a wide range of youth travel soccer teams created to maximize the development of every soccer player consistent with their skill level and commitment, while realizing today's student-athletes have many other competing activities and interests.  We strive to provide an environment conducive to the development of the student-athlete through quality training and competition using the finest facilities in the area.

Time Commitment

MLS teams typically play in the Central League, which encompasses teams from the surrounding areas. The fall is a 10-12 week season that runs from September to early November.  Teams will have two practice sessions a week and league games on the weekends (approx. 8 games).  Teams will also participate in two to three tournaments.  All teams are off from mid-November through the end of December.  During the winter months of January to early March teams gather for six weekly indoor futsal training sessions and teams also enter a local futsal league.  The spring season spans from mid-March through May.  Practice occurs once a week with a league game on weekends (approx. 5 games).

Coaching

MLS teams and players will be offered top quality coaching from some of the area’s top youth soccer coaches.  Practices and home games will take place on the pristine campus of the Episcopal Academy.  Our aim is for continued player development while fostering the love for the game.  The emphasis at practices will be on individual technical skills, tactical knowledge, while fostering teamwork, a sense of fair play and overall respect of the game.

Cost

The cost per player can vary slightly based on coaching cost per player with a range of $1,200 - $1,500 per player.  Uniforms are an additional fee.
